One of my favorite mini's to date! The teddy bears, the mud, and the gorgeous evening light...couldn't have been any better! Jungs, Millers, and Bayers - THANK YOU!
The Jung sisters!
The Millers! Judah had soooo much fun in the mud! I loved that mommy and daddy let him. :)
I loooooooooooove red dirt...
And last, but not least, the Bayer's!
Until next time! Thanks for stopping by! :)
My husband and I became friends with Brittany and Trevor shortly after our wedding. Trevor is in the band that Keith picked (based on their awesome set list!) to play at our wedding reception. Thanks to Drive and our family and friends, our wedding reception was a blast!! One of the best nights of our lives! Brittany and Trevor are expecting their first child - a BOY! Parker will be here so soon! Please enjoy the glowing beauty that radiates from Brittany! Ok, and you too Brewski. :)
My arm pit maaaaaaaay or may not have been in Brittany's face on these next 2 shots. Don't judge me. She didn't mind. LOL
These two people make me smile. Dustin is my husband's cousin, so I've known Dustin as long as I've known Keith, and Nicole *almost* as long, as she's been around for some time (Dustin's a smart guy!). They recently became engaged (whoop!) and are planning a Kansas wedding in November. Dustin and Nicole are huge Jayhawk fans, so off to Kansas we went for a fun family weekend and an engagement shoot! The University of Kansas campus is absolutely beautiful! We spent the morning there and ended the day with a fun family bbq outside on the patio. So, pretty much a perfect weekend in my eyes!
We can't wait for the big day! Rock Chalk!
I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with Melissa and Richard capturing their love for each other. These two are getting married in Maui next year and contacted me for some engagement photos. They left the location up to me, so naturally I had to go to a place with sand, water, boats, and docks! Fitting for Maui, yes? Now, if only they'd let me sneak into their luggage and go to Maui with them!
Congratulations again, Melissa and Richard! I wish you the happiest ever after!
Sweet, sweet Drew. Where do I even begin? How about the shock, surprise, and gratefullness I felt when Drew's mom, Angie, contacted me for newborn photos of baby Drew. Before I knew it, a newborn session turned into a full year of shoots with Drew as Angie decided on the Grow With Me Package. I was ecstatic. I'm still learning, establishing myself as a photographer, but let me tell ya - there isn't a better compliment in the WORLD to a photographer than booking a session, nevermind FOUR. I couldn't thank Angie enough for not only investing in the Grow With Me Package, but by doing that she gave me confidence. Hope that I can do this. Belief that I am good enough. I am my own worst critic - I won't ever grow out of it, I don't think. I find something wrong or something I don't like after every picture I take, rather than taking a step back and viewing it from an outsiders position. The day where I think my work is perfect is the day I give up -- I never want to stop learning this craft that I love SO much.
Whoa. This post got out of hand. Back to sweet Drew! I wanted to put a blog post together of all 4 of his sessions, taken at newborn, 3 month, 6 month, and 9 months. He is an absolute JOY to photograph -- so easy going and that smile comes out so easily!
Thanks again Angie, for believing in me. When I'm rich and famous and traveling the world taking photographs of famous things, I'll send you postcards. HA! Totally kidding, folks.
7 days new!
9 months and so.dang.cute. Those big brown eyes!
Break for bottle. I wanted Angie to have this photo to remember moments like these forever...
